What is Keyword Density

Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or key phrase appears on the web page compared to the total number of words on the page. For example, if a keyword is used 3 times in a webpage with 100 indexable text words, the page has a keyword density of 3%. The search engines are using different types of method for indexing also each search engine have their own specialized spider so they are totally different.

Popular search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing Keyword density are consider keyword density as part of their search algorithm. Keyword densityis considered with whole page elements like image alt tag, meta tags, meta description, comments etc. Never ever publish useless contents for getting a high search engine position always publish unique contents, low quality contents with high keyword density is a spam definitely search engines kick them out.

Keyword density closely related with the number of words used in the content. Always me prefer publish contents with 2% – 6% keyword densityits mostly spam free. Publishers an increase the total word count and stabilize the keyword densityto preferable.
